Stand with your legs wide, toes turned out, legs strong but don't lock your knees. Firm your abdominals. With energy, reach your right arm up and out making a straight diagonal line from left heel to right fingertips. At the same time, bring your left hand close to your left hip, elbow back. Switch arms: left arm up, right hand near your hip.

Next, squat down so your knees are aligned over your ankles, butt as low to the ground as you can, and simultaneously scoop your right hand low as though picking something up near the big toe of your right foot, once again sliding your left hand near the left hip. Repeat the scoop to the other side and return to standing to complete the sequence.
