Cancerbackup is the leading national charity providing up-to-date information, practical advice and support for cancer patients, their families and friends. We offer people a choice of routes to access accurate, sensitively-presented information, helping patients and the people around them to understand and face the impact of the disease.

Our freephone helpline receives 50,000 calls a year. We have nine local centres at partner hospitals around the UK. Our extensive website and range of free booklets give information in a straightforward, unpatronising way. We base these services, and our campaigning voice, on what people tell us they need. Cancerbackup’s services are increasingly vital as the number of people diagnosed with or living with cancer grows, and treatment choices become more complex.
