Follow up after treatment for secondary liver cancer

If you have secondary liver cancer you will need to see your doctor regularly so that your general health can be monitored and any symptoms or discomfort caused by the cancer can be treated. You may have scans or blood tests from time to time to assess the cancer or the effects of any treatment.

These appointments are good opportunities to discuss with your doctor any worries or problems you may have. However, if you notice any new symptoms or are anxious about anything else in the meantime, then contact your doctor or the ward sister for advice.
